Garages and service stations can now order spare parts online
Hanover, 16.10.2003 The online dealer Delticom AG, Hanover, has launched its spare part sales, venturing into a new business segment. In addition, Delticom offers a 24 hour delivery service: If the requested spare parts are in stock and the order is received before 3 p.m., the parts are deliverd the next day. "In the past, other companies have tried to set up a similar business and failed. We see this new business segment as a trial", explained Delticom Managing Director Rainer Binder. "But, so far the launch has been received very well by our business customers."
Outstanding advantage of the online ordering process is the possibility to find out when exactly a product can be delivered. This is possible because the spare part shop is linked directly to the supplier's warehousing system. www.autoreifenonline.de offers around 85.000 spare parts for almost all car brands at competitive prices. The minimum quantity for filled and loaded starter batteries in original manufacturer quality at Delticom is five units. For 10 batteries and more, B2B customers get 3 Euro discount per unit.
For those stocking up in engine oil for the winter months, Delticom has also lowered prices for oil drain pans. In addition the Hanover-based Internet dealer offers an overflow safeguard to refit waste oil tanks as required by the water balance law, WHG, for 279,- Euro instead of 299,- Euro.
